Just a friendly reminder to not "loan" any items to another player, even if you trust them. This causes problems for both you and the Admin Team. You never know what may happen. If a player with your item is locked or banned it is unrecoverable. If the player steals the item it might be unrecoverable.
If you don't want your hard work and gold to go down the drain you guys need to keep your items to yourself unless you're trading.

We have been having regular downtime lately because of a combination of 2 problems. On one hand the data center is having problems with sudden power outages because something went wrong while they installed new backup generators.
On the other hand we are having a problem that once our server machine reboots, the game software isn't automatically started. This means that the game is down after a power outage until I notice it and start it again.
We will look at these problems and try to solve them asap. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Because of a maintenance problem that caused a power failure in our data center, Terraworld has been down. Everything is up and running again. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

I've made a few important bug fixes to the event system today.
I've also removed friendly fire from all event types, including Capture the flag. This will allow the players of a team to work together better and to work out defense strategies.
For the moment the event system is still in beta release. This means that admins are allowed to host events, but that the events won't be started automatically by the system.
