Summary

Christmas is due to be foggy this year, but Rudolph is nowhere to be found. Santa says you might find a clue in The Land of Forgotten Toys, so head there see if you can find anything. All the toys sya the same thing, that Rudolph was heading home last time they saw him. Of course, you hurry to the stables behind Santa's plase and find all the reindeer accounted for aside from Rudolph, whose stable is empty. A note is laying on the floor what reads: "Santa, If you ever want to see Rudolph again, come to my home in Deveno and bring the spirit of Christmas. - Jack Frost" You run to Santa and show him the note, and he says you don't have a choice. He must hold his home against anything thay may come, and you must go to Jack Frost and defeat him to get Rudolph back. You go to Deveno, and find Jack's home, a cold and dreary place beneath a dying tree covered in snow, and see him there with Rudolph. Of course, you defeat him immediately, but not before he gives you a choice. He tell you that you can challenge him and lose, or take his side, defeat Santa, and give Jack the Spirit of Christmas.

Path 1: Santa's Side

Taking Santa's side makes the quest a bit longer, thus making the reward better. By Taking Santa's side, you defeat Jack and take Rudolph back to him, but this is no use, as Rudolph's nose it not glowing as it should. Santa tells you Rudolph will need a purple potion to make him better, so you use your otherwise pointless purple sand, make a potion, and bring it to rudolph. This does nothing, and Santa looks grim at the news. He says that Jack has taken Rudolph's spirit of Christmas, and the only way to get it back it to defeat Jack's partner, The Frost of Winter. You hurry back to Deveno, where Jack is alive and well, guarding a cage with the Frost of Winter inside (the frost of winter should look like a snow demon) You defeat Jack, defeat the Frost of Winter, and hurry to Santa, who looks much happier. He rewards you for being so brave, and requests you pay Rudolph a visit, as he would also like to thank you. Rudolph rewards you as well, and you're on your merry way.

Path 2: Jack's Side

Jack is not a nice person, and thus, the reward isn't as good. Jack tells you that by taking his side, he needs you to go to Santa's place and retrieve the Spirit of Christmas. You go, defeat Santa, and take off with the Spirit of Christmas back to Deveno, but things aren't looking so good. Santa's reinforcements, the Elves, are already there, and have defeated Jack. They tell you you can challenge them, but you know they outnumber you, so you hurry back to Santa to return the Sirit of Christmas and make things right. Mrs. Claus has set up an army of toy soldiers against you, but Santa, now in the presence of the Spirit of Christmas, comes around and defends you, saying you made an error in judgement. He takes you into his office, where you return the Spirit of Christmas, and Santa tells you that if you do him a favor, he will grant you a reprieve and not place you on the Naughty List. You agree, and he asks you to go to Jack's place yet again and defeat the Frost of Winter, along with Jack, once and for all. In the process, you will bring him the medicine Jack drops that will restore Rudolph's health. After doing so, you return to Santa and the rewarding takes place.
