A terrifying snow storm is approaching the land, threatening to destroy all in its wake.
The clouds loom ominously over the peaceful town of Escher, the townsfolk board their doors and windows shut.
After the storm has passed Escher, it seems to be on a collision course for Reet. The Mayor of Escher has come to Reet to warn the people there of the impending doom.
He announces that the Coliseum is open to people seeking refuge, and that anyone who wishes safety is welcome to stay there.
Mayor of Escher: "EVERYBODY LISTEN!!!! A terrifying snow storm is approaching! It's threatening to destroy all in its wake! It's already wrecked Escher, and it's coming here next! I can offer you all safety!"
QL: A terrifying snow storm? That sounds ominous! Quick, let's accept his offer of safety, so that we don't perish.
----
On the way to Escher there are several patches of dark cloud, walking beneath any will result in instant death.
ES - [Wow, those clouds really ARE ominous and terrifying. I'd better get to the safety of Escher Coliseum quickly.]
----
Escher is severely damaged, the buildings are lain to waste and pieces of buildings litters the streets.
ES - [It looks as if someone painted this town red, then set a giant mutant bull loose on it and promised it free pie if everything got wrecked. Well, that or a snow storm.]
As you enter the town, one of the shopkeepers calls out: "Please! Help us! We need wood and nails and hammers so that we may repair our stores and homes!"
QL: There are still clouds throughout the land, threatening snowy death, should you risk your life for these strangers?

Head to the Coliseum
Soon after gathering at the Coliseum, a young boy arrives to speak to the refugees. "My father, the town butcher is inviting everyone who helped repair the town to a banquet, to use up all of his leftover smallgoods before they are ruined."
QL: Follow the little boy to the tasty banquet at Rania's store.
Enter Rania's Store
Rania: "You! You're the one who refused to help us in our time of need. So much for Christmas Spirit! Have a lump of iron, for that's all you're worth."
Continue, see further...

Collect Materials
Bring some logs to the shopkeeper.
Shopkeeper: "Thankyou, but how will I do anything with this wood if I haven't got a saw?"
QL: Bring a saw to the shopkeeper
Shopkeeper: "Thankyou so much! But I just realised that I haven't got any nails... and I don't know where I can buy some. I guess I will never be able to fix the store... unless you can think of anyone who might have nails?"
Use your immense intellect and powers of logic to visit the blacksmith.
Enter Blacksmith's Store
ES - [A sign hangs off its hinges above the devastated front desk, it reads: |Nails for Sale|]
Blacksmith: "Sorry, I'm all out of nails... I could make you some more if you were to bring me 3 chunks of iron."
QL: Bring the blacksmith 3 chunks of iron.
----
Use QE to check whether or not the player has mined any stones
----
if yes: Blacksmith: "My, what excellent quality iron! I was able to make a lot of nails with this, I'll give you half of what I made as well as some money for the other half."
receive: 1,500g and 15 nails.
----
if no: Blacksmith: "Hmm... this is fairly poor quality iron... I was only able to make a handful of nails with it. Sorry."
receive: 3 nails
----
Bring the nails to the shopkeeper
Shopkeeper: "This is excellent! I'll get right to work on my shop! Take this as gratitude. I'll be sure to tell all the other townsfolk about your generosity."
receive: 1,000g and item pertaining to the specific shopkeeper.
QL: Well, that paid off quite well... maybe I should help more people, it appears to be profitable.
----
Help 5 of the people in the town.
Shopkeeper: "Ah! Yes! The other shopkeeper spoke of you when he loaned me the saw you gave him! He said I should ask you for some wood and nails."
QL: Give each shopkeeper 1 x Logs and then talk to them to give them nails.
If player received the good quality nails, then they need not visit the blacksmith again. If the player received the bad quality nails, then they must visit the blacksmith for every shopkeeper.
----
A player may visit the Coliseum at any point.
Upon visiting the Coliseum, Rania's son will arrive and say: "My father, the town butcher is inviting everyone who helped repair the town to a banquet, to use up all of his leftover smallgoods before they are ruined."
QL: Follow the little boy to the tasty banquet at Rania's store.
Enter Rania's Store
Rania: "Thankyou for your kindness, you really understand the meaning of Christmas Spirit, the villagers have all heard of your good heart and prepared this reward for you."
Receive reward, dependant on how many shopkeepers you helped. For helping 5 shopkeepers you receive a new item, the other four items are attainable in-game, with worth:
1 shopkeeper - 10k
2 shopkeepers - 20k
3 shopkeepers - 30k
4 shopkeepers - 50k
5 shopkeepers - new item

(*note* Upon exiting the banquet hall after refusing to help any shopkeepers, you still remember that Reet is in danger and may continue the quest from hereon in)
Upon exiting the banquet hall, the first shopkeeper you helped calls out, "Thankyou for all your help! We should have the town repaired by New Year's Eve, come back any time after that and we'll return it."
QL: Oh, I'll remember to come back and collect it then. Now I'd better head back to Reet.... Oh No! The storm is going to wreck Reet!!! I need to get back there right away and make sure that noone is in danger!"
----
You head back to Reet, only to find an army of evil orc lords waiting outside the gates.
Talk to Orc Lord
Orc Lord: "Hey! What you doin'? I thought boss said everyone would be gone from town!"
QL: Oh no! The Orcs have obviously decided to pillage Reet whilst everyone is escaping the big storm! You have to stop them before everything is stolen!"
Kill x number of orcs
QL: They keep coming back, there must be thousands of them. You need to find the boss! He's probably far away to avoid capture. But where is a faraway place full of Orc Lords?
Use your immense intellect to deduce the location of the boss, the Orc Lord Caves.
----
Head off to the Orc Lord caves.
----
Upon arrival, *The caves feel colder than usual, a deep rumbling is coming from within... maybe the Orc Boss is really hungry.*
----
The cave is full of Mage Faction Members, in place of Orc Lords. They seem oddly stronger than usual.
You battle your way through the maze of tunnels. Until you reach the ice cavern. Angela stands, triumphant upon a tall throne. To her left and right sit a fire demon and a snow serpent.
Angela: "So you have found my lair! Well, you will never be able to stop us! Even the weather is on our side!! Muahahaha!"
QL: What does she mean? Surely she didn't create the storms!
Angela: "I can read your mind, young warrior and yes, I did create the storms. And with the power to create, I can also destroy... YOU!"
Fight Angela. Kill Angela.
Angela comes back to life.
QL: She won't die! What dark magic is this?
Kill the snow serpent or the fire demon. (not an actual fire demon or snow serpent, just a look-a-like boss)
Angela: "NOoooooo! What have you done? Without the equilibrium of both their powers, the storms will dissipate!!! How could you destroy everything I worked for?!???"
Angela disappears, leaving only the spell book which she used to conjure the storms, Droplet.
Quest Completed
----
Walking back from the cave, the clouds are still there but they are now only harmless rain clouds. Walking under any of them will result in the message "You're all cold and wet now, you should get inside out of the rain."
----
When Christmas is over, the spell Droplet should be sold by an NPC in the Orc Caves, for a lot of money.
