If you don't mind me asking,

If you don't mind me asking, how do you have exams a week into the semester? I think our exams work differently because we usually have exams on all of the work that we did that semester, that's why it is at the end of the semester. It was the same in high school.

I'm actually two weeks in,

I'm actually two weeks in, but in my computer class all my projects and assignments are worth 10 points. We have tests/quizzes worth 25, and 5 exams per subject (the last one is final exams, that go over everything learned). Each exam is worth 100 points or more (highest one in computers is 180 points), and the final exam is worth 100 points too. So pretty much I got to do good on my exams because my assignments aren't worth crap.

The first exam is over the first 2 weeks of stuff we just learned, which is 3 chapters of things.

I believe she made it so early because there is a "hands-on" portion of my exams.

Our classes are spread into 4-5 Units, so this first exam is Unit 1 Exam.

Our Spring Semseter is 16 weeks long if that might make a difference.
