What I'm guessing is noob island is going to get taken over by the monsters, hence the gazers in town, in Eyre the zoo animals have died, the tree of enlightenment has been chopped down, and the water is turning to lava. Then everyone on noob island will do a quest or something so they can sail away to the newly discovered Somnium.
Quite clever, but hey, if thats true, I already figured it out. Tehee I'm going to miss noob island.
