The quest is aimed at Permanent Noobs so it is meant to be lengthy to start and even more time consuming to finish. Maxing most of the skills is a pre requirement. It is not too heavy on rewards as it does lead onto the quest for the Tomb of the Pharaoh.

The Lake Eyre Dragon should have atleast 500+ hp so you do need a team to kill it as well as having it hit for a substantial amount of your hp such as 25. so you can take 2-3 hits before needing to run and heal.
