Pre-reqs= 33str and 22 int

After a long night of trick-or-treating, you retire to Andero's Halloween Town pub to have a nice cold pint. Andero has a special tonight, due to the occassion, he's giving out free haunted ale!

You drink your tasty beverage, stopping for a moment to read the label...

Ale-oween Ale
Brewed with springwater in Halloween Town Everglades

as you drink the ale, you begin to feel a little light-headed. Before you even notice it, your intelligence drops by 5 points and your strength drops by 4!

They always said alcohol was bad for you, but surely not this bad? Looking down, you see a great big beer belly - perhaps this ale was haunted after all!

You turn to Andero, horrified, and ask him what to do?

Andero: "Hey, I told you it was haunted ale, i'm not giving you your money back after you were warned! Maybe if you go up to the brewery you can get a refund."

You start to tell him that you don't care about the 5g, you only care about your strength and intelligence... but he's too busy tricking the next customer to bother listening to you.

After the single drink, you wander out into the everglades...

Before you can react, a great beast leaps at you and drags you into the pits of hall... oween town.

In the evil glade, the trees groan in pain... the shadows grasp at your booties and the red sky leers at you. The air is thick with tortured souls...
In the middle of this unholy glen, a great fire burns. Voices ring through your ears... "join us in the coals... join us!"

As you step unto the fire, your feet are not even singed... a black magic defends you from pain.

In the heart of the fire their faces become clear to you, the faces of the damned and decaying. They call for you to join with them, in their dance of death. Around and around in the flames you dance, until you trip on a skull.

Looking up from the ground, you noticed the beasts are feasting on brains and meat alike.
You realise all this was a trap set for you, to devour your mind and your muscle.

You attack the unholy beasts to recover your lost wit and strength, after they fall the flames began to affect you, and you pass out from the pain.

Awakening in Andero's Halloween town pub, Andero pokes you from the bar with a pool cue.
Andero: "Hey, you lazy bum! If you're gonna pass out in my pub, then buy another pint!"

Was it all a dream?

You look down at your clasped hand, gripping the skin of a ghost. You pocket the skin, and head out of the haunted pub as fast as you can.

The shoemaker in Secret City can infuse the ghost skin with firedragon boots, to make ghost skin boots, which increase your parry rate. (i mean, have you ever tried to hit a ghots?)

Talking to Andero again will result in his guilt-ridden apology
Andero: "What? You're not weak and dumb? THEY MADE ME DO IT! I SWEAR, THEY DIDN'T PAY ME ANYTHING! NOT 10,000G AT ALL OF COURSE NOT. WHO SAID THAT? Fine, I'll give you half... just don't tell anyone!"

Andero gives you 5k.

Talking to Andero a second time, will result in him getting mad and telling you to get out of his pub. Before you have a chance to react, he wrestles you to the ground.
A fight ensues, and defeating him results in another piece of ghost flesh and another 5k.
