I'm sorry it's so long.

LAZY LARRY’S QUARRY

This quest requires you to level mining, walk around Noob Island, find out about alchemy, find out about orc drops, find out about spells, and find out about archery.

Talk to the NPC ‘Larry’ outside the mines, he says that it is his job to bring the miners an apple each day for lunch. He has been mining his way through to them for ages but he is really tired and he wants you to take over for a while so he can rest. He sells mining hammers.
You take the mining hammer into the mines and the rocks respawn automatically. You have to mine your way to the other side of the mine, but some of the rocks are fire rocks so you can’t mine them. The mine is a maze.
When you get to the other side there is a NPC[he was there before but you can’t get any info until you are right next to him because he wants an apple] and he says ‘I have been working in this mine for so long and I am ever so thirsty, too thirsty to even move! If you bring me a blue potion I will reward you handsomely.’ If you give him the blue potion he will give you a plate helmet. [Seeing as most players get two Plate helmets while on Noob Island this won’t be an issue and will actually make things less tedious ‘cos now you don’t have to spend days being pwnd by megaslime.]

However you can skip this guy and go into the next room, another mine maze. This guy wants the apple and then he wants 3 blue crystals and when you give them to him he casts minor heal and then he says ‘Wow! That Minor Heal Spell was just what I needed for these blisters! Now I can keep mining for hours!’

He also says that he is still really hungry and he would just love a tasty Orc Burger. If you get him the Orc Burger he says “ Oh thankyou so much, I normally cook my own Orc Burgers, and here is something an Orc droped one day while I was hunting them”. He gives you a short sword.
****Now you know that Orc’s are huntable.****
The third room is another mine maze and at the end the guy wants 5 yellow crystals. When you give them to him an Orc spawns at in front of the entrance to the next mine maze, the NPC shoots it with yellow arrows. When you click on him again he says “These arrows are pretty nifty, huh! My brother sent them to me from Main Island for christmas.”
****Now you know all the uses for crystals, archery and spell casting****
Now you go into the next mine maze, this NPC thanks you for bringing him and his co-workers their lunches, and he says Larry is really lazy. He says that if you give him a chunk of star he will show you an awesome secret. When you give him the chunk of star you get spawned to a room where you get the Shimmer Password.
When you enter it you are in a mine cavern but there is no maze. There is a little shop counter and behind it is Dustin[Prestin’s Cousin]. Dustin buys crystals to sell in Prestin’s shop.
****This explains where Prestin gets so many crystals from when he never seems to go mining ever, also it gives noobs a chance to sell back crystals because the always want to****

the only things it kinda leaves out is lumberjacking and fishing i think...

This is going to be a long post, sorry again. Basically when i wrote the first quest (see above posts) i also wrote two others. so instead of having the 8 brothers you would do these three quests to introduce u to all the basic skills.
I think I covered them all...
Oh and if you want a copy of these thats easier to read, I have a word document with them all in it.

BEGINNING:

Whether or not a player completes these quests is up to them, their graduation from Noob Island should not depend on them completing a quest. If they miss out on a quest and it’s subsequent prize then it’s tough bananas for them.

QUEST TWO:

RAISING EMBER
Fishing, cooking and fighting skills. Also introduces new player to Eyrie.

The NPC in the fishing store next to n00b docks tells you that Amber’s little sister, Tania, was looking for some fish the other day, she lives three screens north and one screen east of this shop.
On the three screens to Tania’s house there are slimes.

****Walking to Tania’s house levels fighting skill****

When you get to her house there are two flame monsters there and a note on the table. The note says that Tania has gone on holiday to Eyrie and because it is so cold there she couldn’t take Flamey and Ember with her and could you please feed them while she is away. They like raw fish.
So you walk back to the docks and catch a whole bunch of fish for Flamey and Ember then you go back to Tania’s house and use the give option to feed Flamey and Ember the fish.

****This levels fishing****

Every time you feed Flamey or Ember a fish a cooked fish goes in your inventory. That’s because they are flame monsters.

****This levels cooking****

Once you have fed them twenty fish[so twenty fish to ember or twenty fish to flamey or like ten fish each] you get a message that says ‘Flamey and Ember are full now, thanks’ and then you get spawned back at fishing place. You need to walk back to Tania’s house and feed Flamey and Ember more until you have maxed cooking. Seeing as cooking takes about five hundred fish to master that’s twenty-five trips.
When you have maxed it you get a message from Tania thanking you for looking after Flamey and Ember and she says that while she was in Eyrie she got you a present, but it seems to have melted on the way back home. You can still have it if you like, or you can have 500g. The present is a damaged ice-shield.
You choose which present you would like, if you choose 500g she says ‘Thanks so much for looking after Flamey and Ember’ if you choose the shield she says ‘I bet you could find something to fix this with in Eyrie’

QUEST THREE
IF A WOODCHUCK COULD CHUCK WOOD

The lumberjacking quest, gives incentive to go to main and continues to Eyrie.

There is an NPC north of Karmiel who is standing in front of a broken house. He tells you that there was a terrible hurricane and it blew away all of his furniture and broke down his house. He says that he saw a few of his chairs caught in the branches of nearby trees in the western woods and that he is too busy rebuilding his house to go and get them. You can buy an axe from him.
You cut down trees in the screens west of his house[I don’t know if this is possible in the game] and you will randomly get logs or a piece of furniture(stool, chair or table) you can take the furniture back to the NPC and he will buy it off you for 50g each, he will buy logs to fix his house with for 20g each.

****This is an incentive to chop down trees****

Whenever you sell him a piece of furniture he says that he wished he lived on main because then he could buy a saw and make new furniture.

****Incentive to go to Main****

Once you have maxed lumberjacking skill he says he now has all of his furniture that he needs except he has one extra cushion, he gives you this cushion, named ‘Snow Puff Cushion’. [it is important that you can only get one cushion ever, then they will be worth something]
When you go to Eyrie the NPC who respawns the ice mines says ‘Oh I hate standing up all day! This is such the worst job.... oh hey, a customer! If you give me a silver token I will respawn the mines!’ If you give him the cushion he will move out of the way of a cave entrance which has no monsters in it and all the rocks are spawned. Once you leave this cavern you can’t go back in unless you have another cushion.

why does there have to b brother quests it takes too long to get to the good part of the game im still on noob island and ive been playing 3 days T_T

I say take the bro's out and go back to old quest ploX!!!

take these quests out, in my opinion wen u start a new char u just wanna quit right then and there after u find out u need to do those quests. all the new people i see always ask in broadcast "do we need to do these brother quests?" and every1 says "yes" and they say "omg.....". If i started playing right now with these brother quests i would quit. who wants to do 8 quests that take 2 days to do 1 of them and then get to main to find out it just gets harder? not me.
