i already posted on the suggestions forum my idea for crafting items (http://www.terragaming.net/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=42372)

but seeing as how most suggestions never get followed up (T.T) I figured i'd put in the hard yards and draw up all the necessary items for some beginning cookery and crafting sessions.

i was thinking that maybe recipes or instructions could be quest prizes, so you help someone and then they teach you how to make 'x' item.

so here goes:
flour
sugar
egg
grass
string
feather
hay
wheat
chocolate
vanilla
strawberry
chocolate cake
strawberry cake
vanilla cake
chocolate layer cake
strawberry layer cake
vanilla layer cake
milk
cheese
yeast
chicken
beef
fried egg
omelette
calamari
hamburger
chicken burger
cookies
bread

lamp
mounted fish
spider plush
potted roses
potted flowers
potted plant
decorative golden sword
rugs

I could see this working if it didn't have a shitty user interface.

i figure some version of the trade system would work.

have some sort of list of unlocked recipes, like the quest list, select one to open a trade-like window, select all the necessary items for the recipe, then click bake/craft.

that seems like the easiest way to me...

That would seem like it would work. Maybe we could even give campfires a purpose with doing this?

They already have a purpose. You can cook on them.

Naw, really? But honestly, why would you spend time sitting out at the campfire which takes longer to cook something on than a normal stove, just for some idiot to run by and take the thing?

Really Juann, if you don't have a point other than to raise your post count, don't post anything.
